Week 5

What a busy week we have all had.  We continued our Shang Dynasty learning this week to learn all about royal burials and then came forward in time to approx 200BC to learn about the Terracotta Warriors.  The Dorchester Museum (Dorchester Museum) has lots of information on-line if you want to continue the learning - I was fortunate to see them in Edinburgh when they were first exhibited; a truly memorable experience.  We had some disappointment earlier in the week when the football tournament was cancelled but our cheerleaders stepped up to provide some uplifting in-school support to our team! Year 6 were able to spend some time on Thursday with their Badger Buddies and their friendships are beautiful to see. We ended the week with a visit to our Year 6 maths from Mrs Smith and I think it's safe to say we made her brain work very hard - great maths everybody!
