Remote Learning Offer
We are currently following the guidance of providing up to 3 hours of home learning for key stage 1 and up to 4 hours of work for key stage 2. We are using Google Classroom as our sharing platform. Each day the children will have English, Maths and one other lesson. In addition there are homework activities on class pages and links to useful websites. The afternoon lessons will be a variety of foundation subjects and will be as close in knowledge as possible to what we would have been teaching in school. We are providing links and activities to promote wellbeing of our children weekly and PE sessions.
Each teacher meets their class live every day to talk through the days learning and we offer other times when children can speak to their teacher live for support and to listen to a class book. Don't forget to join the whole school worship every Monday and Wednesday which is a lovely opportunity to get our whole school community together in prayer. Remote Learning is definitely helping us all to embody our Christian Value of 'perseverance' this term!
As advised we are keeping logs of participation and engagement weekly. Any children who are not attending regularly will receive a phone call from Mrs Hill to see how we can help further.
For more detailed information about Remote Learning and FAQ please see our Remote Learning Plan below. We have also included some links to websites that you may find useful to support you at home.
